HADDONFIELD - Starter Brian Spicer came within one out of a no-hitter on Monday night, leading the Roughriders to a 3-0 victory over Deptford. A clean single to left broke up the no-hit bid. Spicer (1-0), who got a no decision in his first outing of the year, ended up with a complete game one-hitter, fanning eight. He walked two and hit a batter. Mike Carlino went 3-3, driving in two runs to pace the offense.

CAMDEN - Mike Carlino continued his torrid June by tripling in the game winning run in the fifth inning, leading the Roughriders to victory over Roberto Clemente. Tom Ford picked up the win with three sparkling innings of relief (0 H, 1 K). With the game tied at three, Matt Longo doubled to left center with two outs. Carlino then blasted a triple to left field, scoring Longo. Mark Kraus provided insurance with an RBI single to plate Carlino. Longo also added an RBI ground out in the seventh. Carlino finished the the night with a double and triple, producing four RBI. Starter Nick Ntelekos went three innings before yielding to Ford.
