The Roughs went to the seventh down 3-0, but walks to Zach Stefka and Matt Longo combined with a hit batter (Ian Wallace) set up Carlino's clutch hit into the right field corner. Kepple's jumped out to a 2-0 lead on starter Brian Spicer, who did not allow a hit in four innings of work (2 R, 0 ER).
