HADDONFIELD - Roughrider pitching held the Dawgs to just four hits but a three-run first inning sent the Roughriders to their third loss of the season in a 3-1 defeat on Thursday evening. Shea McKenna went 3-3 while Ian Murphy and Shane Daly each had two hits, but the Roughs would leave nine runners on base in the contest. John DiCostanzo (1-1) pitched well in the loss (5 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 5 K).

RUNNEMEDE - The game between the Roughriders and the SJ Grizzlies was postponed due to inclement weather. The game has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 6 in Runnemede. The Roughriders will begin the most strenuous part of their schedule with six games in seven days, beginning this Sunday at Burlington Township.
