D'Andrea 2, Roughriders 1 June 8, 2009
HADDONFIELD - For a second consecutive game, the Roughriders went to the seventh inning in a tie game. This time, the win went to the opposition in a 2-1 defeat to D'Andrea. Mike Cummings (2 IP, 2 H, 3 BB, 2 K) took the loss in relief, as D'Andrea managed to scratch out the deciding run. Rob Schork, making his first start of the year, found himself locked in a pitching duel from the outset. Schork went four strong innings (1 H, 2 BB, 8 K) before retiring for the evening. Ryan McNamara relieved in the fifth and gave up the first run of the game, but the Roughs responded in the bottom half of the inning to tie the contest. Adriano Petrutz's run scoring single scored Chris Brooks to knot the score until the final frame. The Roughriders had six hits, two each by Petrutz and Phil Arena.

CHERRY HILL - The game between the Roughriders and Cherry Hill was postponed due to inclement weather. No makeup date has been determined.
Roughriders 2, Pat's Steaks 0 June 10, 2009
HADDONFIELD – Mike Cummings tossed five innings of one-hit baseball and Mike Carlino drove in both Roughrider runs in a 2-0 win over Pat's Steaks. Cummings did not yield the hit until the fifth inning, his final frame, and struck out three. He walked three. Brian Spicer picked up the save with two innings of relief work (2 H, 2 BB, 1 K). Carlino (3-3) doubled in Paddy McNamara in the third and singled in Phil Arena in the fifth. Chris Brooks went 3-3 as well, including a triple and stolen base.

CAMDEN - The game between the Roughriders and Camden was postponed due to inclement weather. The game has been rescheduled for Monday, July 6.
