HADDONFIELD - Dan Diorio picked up his first Roughrider victory while Mike Cummings and Andrew Frangos both drove in two runs apiece in a 9-3 home win over Mack Ice. Cummings, Frangos, and Rob Oryl all had run scoring hits in a five-run first inning. Eric Juliani doubled in another run in the second to up the score to 6-0. From there, Diorio cruised, going four innings to pick up the win (4 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 4 K). The game was shortened to just five innings after a 30 minute rain delay.

WINSLOW TWP - Paddy McNamara's two out, two-run single in the sixth scored the go ahead runs in a 4-2 win over Golden Nugget on Tuesday night. McNamara's clutch hit made a winner of Mike Cummings, who notched his second win of the season and first complete game. The righty gave up seven hits, striking out six and walking one. Adriano Petrutz (3-4) gave the Roughs an early 2-0 lead when he hit the team's first home run of the year with Jeremy Dilks aboard in the top of the first. Golden Nugget battled back with two runs in the fourth versus Cummings, but would get nothing else the rest of the game.

HADDONFIELD - The Roughriders were shutout and nearly no-hit in a 6-0 loss to Conlin Baseball. Dave Vadurro broke up the no-hit bid with a clean single to leadoff the seventh. Jeremy Dilks also singled in the seventh, as the Roughriders collected just two hits. The home team found themselves down 3-0 after just a half inning of play and never recovered. Starter Rob Schork (4 IP, 5 H, 5 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 6 K) suffered the loss. Brian Spicer pitched the final three innings (1 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 2 K).
