West Deptford 6, Roughriders 5 June 14, 2010
WEST DEPTFORD - A seventh inning rally fell short, as the Roughriders lost their third straight game by a score of 6-5 to host West Deptford. Trailing 4-0 after an inning, Eric Juliani and Phil Guinto hit back-to-back homers to make it 4-2. In the fourth, an RBI single by Kenny Fetchko followed by an error plated two runs two runs to pull the team to within 5-4. Trailing 6-4 in the seventh, Fetchko drove in his second run of the night with an RBI single to make it 6-5, but the Roughs left the tying and go ahead runs at second and third to end the game. Mike Reagle, pitching his second complete game in as may starts, took the loss (6 IP, 9 H, 6 ER, 5 BB, 4 K).
Roughriders 9, D'Andrea 4 June 16, 2010
LINDENWOLD - The Roughriders exploded for seven runs in the fifth inning, capped by a Dan Diorio grand slam, to earn a 9-5 victory on D’Andrea. Eric Juliani hit is second homer of the season in the second to tie the game at 1-1. D’Andrea would take a 4-1 lead with a three-spot in the third, before the offense finally awoke in the fifth. Consecutive doubles by Adriano Petrutz, Jeremy Dilks (2 RBI), and Kenny Fetchko (RBI) tied the game at 4-4. Then with two outs, Diorio hit the second pitch he saw with the bases loaded over the right centerfield fence to make it 8-4. Zach Schneider earned his first win of the year, going six-plus innings. He yielded eight hits, walking five and striking out one. Phil Guinto finished the game to earn his first save of the season.
Conlin Baseball 6, Roughriders 2 June 18, 2010
HADDONFIELD - Conlin Baseball scored five times in the fifth inning to break a 1-1 tie and defeated the Roughriders 6-2. Phil Guinto’s sac fly scored Zach Schneider to tie the game 1-1 in the third, but Conlin then plated those five runs off of starter Derek Zaleski in the fifth to break the game open. Zaleski went six innings yielding six hits and five earned runs, walking three and striking out two. The Roughs were unable to string together three hits and eight walks from Conlin pitching to support Zaleski on this night. Eric Juliani had two of those hits, including a double and run scored.
