WEEK 4

Cherry Hill 6, Roughriders 4 June 21, 2010
CHERRY HILL - The Roughriders dropped their second straight game, this time to Cherry Hill, by a score of 6-4. The Roughs jumped out early, thanks to an RBI single from Eric Juliani which scored Dave Vadurro (walk, stolen base) for a quick 1-0 to start the game. But Cherry Hill responded off starter Mike Reagle, scoring four in the bottom half for a 4-1 lead. The Roughs chipped away, making the score 5-4 after five innings, courtesy of RBI doubles from Juliani and Rob Oryl. Cherry Hill tacked on an insurance run off Reagle (6 IP, 10 H, 6 R, 5 ER, 2 BB, 3 K) in the sixth to secure the game and get the win. Reagle pitched his third complete game of the season.
Roughriders 3, Bellmawr 2 June 23, 2010
LINDENWOLD - Phil Guinto’s bloop RBI single down the right field line scored Matt Isard with the game winning run as the Roughs defeated defending champion Bellmawr by a score of 3-2. Derek Zaleski notched his second win of the season and first complete game in fine fashion. In seven innings, Zaleski allowed six hits and just one earned run. He walked five and struck out three. All three of his strikeouts came in the pivotal fifth inning after Bellmawr had loaded the bases with no outs. Eric Juliani hit his third homer of the season to tie the game 1-1 in the second and Rob Oryl’s bases loaded walk tied the game 2-2 in the fourth. Isard started the seventh with a single and eventually came around to score on Guinto’s walk-off RBI.
Pat's 3, Roughriders 2 June 24, 2010
HADDONFIELD - Zach Schneider pitched a complete game, six-hitter, but it wasn’t enough as the Roughriders dropped a 3-2 decision to host Pat’s in game played in Haddonfield. Schneider went six innings, and surrendered six hits while striking out four. Pat’s tallied two runs in the second and one in the fifth to gain a 3-0 lead before the Roughs rallied in the seventh. Phil Guinto’s two-out single scored two runs to pull the visitors to within 3-2. Eric Juliani then lined out to first to end the game with the tying run on second.
