WEEK 4

Roughriders 3, Hardenberg 2 June 25, 2012
HADDON TWP - Brian Rice earned his first Roughrider win by throwing five innings of two-hit ball in a 3-2 over Hardenberg on Monday night. Rice allowed just an earned run, walking four and striking out four. The Roughs gave him an early lead to work with in the first inning when Ryan Easterday doubled in Sean Menickella (2-4) for a quick 1-0 lead. Eric Juliani's followed with an RBI fielder's choice to score Phil Guinto to make it 2-0. In the fifth with the score 2-1, Dean Wilson walked and Menickella singled him to third. Ryan Easterday's fielder's choice scored Wilson for a 3-1 lead. The game was then turned over to the bullpen where Easterday picked up a hold (1 IP, 1 H, 2K) and Dan McKenna earned his first save (1 IP, 1 H 1 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 2 K).
Bellmawr 8, Roughriders 4 June 26, 2012
BELLMAWR - Bellmawr took advantage of some shoddy Roughrider defense en route to an 8-4 victory. The Roughs were shutout for the first six innings and held to just four hits. In the seventh, the team attempted to make a game of it by scoring four times. Chris Bartell doubled in one run to get the Roughs on the board. Mike Wasienko's ground out scored another, and Rory McTear hit a sac fly to make it 8-3. Alex Reinicker's single plated Matt Heinkel who had reached on an error to pull the team to within 8-4. The Roughs brought the tying run to the plate but Bellmawr secured the final out and the victory. Reinicker had three hits and Bartell two doubles to lead the offense.
Roughriders 11, Deptford 10 June 27, 2012
LINDENWOLD - The Roughriders erased three different Deptford leads, including a five-run sixth inning that turned a 10-6 deficit into an 11-10 win. Down 4-3 in the third, Ryan Easterday launched his third homer of the year with Phil Guinto aboard to give the Roughs a 5-4 lead. Trailing 6-5 in the fifth, Rory McTear's RBI groundout scored Guinto (leadoff walk) again to tie the game 6-6. Deptford hit the Roughs with four runs in the top of the sixth for a 10-6 lead, setting up the dramatic finish. Mike Wasienko started the rally with a leadoff double. Dan Diorio followed with a single and Matt Heinkel's grounder was played into an error, scoring Wasienko. Alex Reinicker's infield single then loaded the bases, and Guinto delivered with a two-run single to pull the Roughs with one. With two outs, McTear doubled to right center to score Reinicker from second, but Guinto was caught half way between third and home. Deptford's attempt to nab him at third was thrown into left field and Guinto hustled in with the winning run. Easterday picked up the win in relief of starter Dean Wilson with two innings of work (2 IP, 4 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 5 K). Guinto finished 1-2, with two walks, two RBI, and three runs scored.
