2012 Year In Review

WEEK 3

Roughriders 5, Cherry Hill West 1 June 18, 2012
CHERRY HILL – Ryan Easterday hit two homeruns and drove in three runs to help lead the Roughriders to a 5-1 win over Cherry Hill. Easterday’s first clout was a solo shot in the fourth inning making the score 2-0, and his second round tripper was a two-run shot in the fifth to make it 5-1. Mike Reagle earned the win by not allowing an earned run in five innings, scattering six hits, striking out four and walking two. It was his first win of the year. Mike Wasienko had two hits and two RBI while Dean Wilson finished with a team leading three hits. The Roughriders' 10 hits were a season high.
Roughriders 9, Cherry Hill 2 June 20, 2012
LINDENWOLD - Sean Menickella went 3-4 with three RBI and Dean Wilson won for the second time in as many starts as the Roughriders defeated Cherry Hill 9-2. Cherry Hill came into the game undefeated at 7-0, but the Roughs jumped all over the visitors in the first two innings to even their season record at 4-4. Menickella’s first inning single drove in Phil Guinto (leadoff double) and he would later scored on a wild pitch from third base, all part of a three-run first inning. A five-spot by the Roughriders in the second inning increased the lead to 8-0. That inning featured run scoring hits by Menickella, Eric Juliani, Ryan Easterday, and Lex Still. The team followed up their 10 hits on Monday with 11 on this night, a new season high. Wilson (2-0) went five innings for the victory, allowing five hits (2 ER, 4 BB, 4 K). Easterday continued his fine work out of the bullpen to finish the game (2 IP, 1 H, 4 K).

By league rules, the game must be restarted from the beginning. The game is rescheduled for Tuesday, July 24 in Haddonfield.
