WEEK 3

Roughriders 4, Wash. Twp. Senators 2 June 13, 2016
WASH TWP – Adam Bartholomew's two-out, two-run single in the fifth broke a 2-2 tie and sent the Roughriders to their fifth straight win, a 4-2 win over league-leading Washington Township. The Roughs jumped to a quick 2-0 leading after just half an inning, when Tyler Easterday and Alex Reinicker both scored on wild pitches. The Senators tallied single runs in the second and fourth off Drew Dark (5 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 3 K) to tie the score before Bartholomew delivered in the fifth. Dark earned his second win and Nick Cavanaugh (2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 4 K) earned his first save.
Camden 4, Roughriders 3 June 16, 2016
CAMDEN – Camden erased a 3-0 deficit and won 4-3 on a walk-off, bases loaded single in the seventh to snap the Roughriders' five game win streak. The Roughs led 3-0 through four innings, getting RBI from Alex Reinicker, Mike Wade, and Adam Bartholomew. Starter Luke Westfield continued his string of impressive outings, leaving with the lead after five innings (5 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 2 K). Camden, however, would tally once in the sixth without a hit and then won it with their walk-off single in the seventh. The Roughriders close out the week by hosting Deptford tomorrow evening.
Roughriders 7, Deptford 6 June 17, 2016
HADDONFIELD – In a dramatic finish, Mike McLaughlin tied the game with a two-out, RBI single and Mike Wade won it with a walk-off RBI single in the Roughriders' 7-6 victory over Deptford. The Roughs trailed throughout most of this game, first erasing a 4-0 Deptford lead in the fourth on an RBI single from Collin Fabio, and RBI double from McLaughlin, and sac fly by Mike Wade. Deptford then scored twice in the fifth to gain a 6-4 lead, and when Fabio singled in Drew Dark for his second RBI of the night, the stage was set for the seventh inning rally. Brian Spicer picked up the win in his first appearance of the season with one inning of scoreless relief (0 H, 1 K).
