Game 2 - Semi Finals
BELLMAWR – Roberto Clemente completed their improbable comeback and advanced to the TriCounty Finals with a 5-3 win over the Roughriders. Clemente jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead in the first before the Roughs cut the lead in half. Ian Wallace walked, stole second and then was singled home by Mark Kraus (2-4, RBI). But Clemente answered with two in the fourth and one in the fifth to make the score 5-1. The Roughriders had their best chance to tie or take a lead in the bottom of the fifth when Rob Oryl and Dave Page each walked. With one out, Kraus then singled to load the bases. After an out, BJ Amorelli coaxed a two-out walk to tally a run. Jeff Pilling followed with a single to center scoring Page, but Kraus was nailed at the plate for the final out, ending the threat. The Roughs would get no closer. The Roughriders finish the season at 18-9-3 overall and for the second straight year see their season end in the Semi-Finals.
Series Notes:

-This was the first playoff meeting between the two franchises

-The Roughriders have lost three best-of-three playoff series, including this one, when they have won the first game (Hardenberg, 1992; Doctor Connor, 2000)
