HADDONFIELD – The Roughriders defeated Camden 13-4 in the
first game of their Quarter Final playoff series. Mike Carlino blasted a bases loaded triple
with two outs in the second inning to get the offense going. The Roughs would quickly make it
7-0 by the end of third, highlighted by a Phil Arena RBI single and Matt Johnson sacrifice fly.
Camden threatened a comeback, scoring four runs in the fifth, but Jeff Pilling's grand slam in
the home half of the inning put the game away. Brian Spicer picked up the win, going five
innings (4 H, 1 BB, 3 K).

CAMDEN – The Roughriders scored six times in the second
inning and swept their first round matchup versus Camden, winning by a score of 7-4. Drew
Perry earned the win, scattering seven hits over five innings. He struck out three and walked none. The
Roughs jumped out to a 2-0 lead without a hit, thanks to two walks, two hit batters, and an
error. Dan Severino then made Camden pay by delivering a two-out, two-run single to make the
score 4-0. Camden again tried to make a game of it by pulling to within 7-3 after five innings,
but Tom Ford came in and shut the door, picking up the save (2 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 2 K). The Roughriders
advance to the Semi-Finals and will play the winner of Ott's/Roberto Clemente beginning on Friday night.

-This was the first playoff meeting between the two franchises
-The Roughs have now advanced to Semi-Final play in nine different seasons
