Roughriders 3, Camden 2 July 5, 2004
HADDONFIELD - Dan Severino's RBI single was the difference in the Roughriders' 3-2 victory over Camden. With the score tied 2-2 in the fifth, Mike Reagle led off the inning with an opposite field double. After Ian Wallace sacrificed Reagle to third, Severino deposited his game winner into right field. Rob Schork (1-0) earned the victory with two innings of relief for starter Drew Perry (4 IP, 2 K). Mark Kraus recorded his second save by closing out Camden in the seventh.
Roughriders 4, Deptford 0 July 6, 2004
DEPTFORD - Tom Ford pitched a complete, game three-hitter to lead the Roughriders to a 4-0 victory. It was the second complete game in a row for Ford (1-2) who notched his first victory of the season. Rob Oryl's two-run single in the fourth was all Ford would need. The righty walked two and struck out a season high seven.
Roughriders 7, Camden County 5 July 8, 2004
BLACKWOOD - A six-run third inning enabled the Roughriders to defeat Camden County, 7-5. Phil Arena started the big inning with a single. After Rob Oryl walked, Ian Wallace singled in Arena. Walks to Matt Longo and Mike Carlino plated another run before Jeff Pilling's fielder's choice made it 3-0. Consecutive singles by BJ Amorelli and Steve Wyland upped the score to 5-0. Mike Reagle (2-0) picked up the win by scattering six hits over 4.1 innings (1 BB, 4 K). Rob Schork earned his second save by striking out four in 1.2 innings of relief work.
Roughriders 6, Hardenberg 4 July 9, 2004
HADDON TWP. - The Roughriders made it a perfect week by topping Hardenberg 6-4 on Friday night. Brian Spicer (3-0) went the distance, striking out a career high 10 batters. With the score tied 2-2 in the second, Ian Wallace tripled to right center with one out. After a Matt Longo walk, Mike Carlino made it 3-2 with an RBI single. Jeff Pilling's RBI single and Zach Stefka's booted grounder extended the lead to 5-2. Wallace finished 2-3 with three runs scored and Matt Longo went 1-2 with two runs and one RBI.
