HADDONFIELD - Brian Spicer struck out 10 batters for a
second straight start, matching his Tri-County career high, leading the Roughriders to a 6-2
victory over Camden County. Spicer (4-0) went the distance for his second complete game,
giving up four hits and walking two. Trailing 1-0 in the second, Zach Stefka lead off with a
single. A walk to Mike Reagle setup a Mark Kraus sacrifice, which was thrown into right field
allowing two runs to score. Bill Kohut's two-out, RBI single scored Kraus to make the score 3-1,
and gave Spicer all the runs he would need.

HADDONFIELD - The Roughriders scored three sixth inning runs
in a 6-5 comeback win over league leader Hardenberg. The win was their fourth straight, tying
a season high. Trailing 4-3 in the sixth, Dave Page starting the inning with a walk. After
an out, Steve Wyland singled to left to make it first and second. Phil Arena’s infield single
was thrown away, allowing Page and Wyland to cross the plate for a 5-4 Roughrider lead. Ian
Wallace’s RBI groundout then scored Arena making it 6-4. Mark Kraus pitched the seventh to earn
his third save. Rob Schork (2-0) picked up the win in his first start of the year with six
innings of five-hit ball (3 ER, 6 BB, 6 K).
