HADDONFIELD - Matt Longo’s fifth inning, two-run double
sparked the Roughriders to their fifth straight victory, a 3-1 decision over Bellmawr. Brian Spicer
started in a final tuneup before the playoffs. He gave up three hits in three innings
(1 ER, 2 BB, 3 K). Tom Ford (3-2) pitched the next three to earn the win. He gave up no hits
and struck out one. Trailing 1-0 in the fifth, Zach Stefka led off with a walk. After a
sacrifice, Steve Wyland walked to put runners at first and second. Longo then drove in both
runners with a double to left center. Mark Kraus pitched a perfect seventh to earn his fourth
save of the season. Wyland finished 2-2 with two walks and a double.

CAMDEN - Phil Arena drove in three runs and Rob Schork did not
allow a hit in four innings of work in a 7-2 victory over Camden. Arena singled in a run
in the second to give the Roughs a 2-0 lead and doubled in two more runs in a four-run sixth
that upped the lead to 7-1. Steve Wyland, Matt Longo, and Dan Severino each stroked two hits
on the evening. Schork (3-0) started and threw four no-hit innings (4 BB, 3 K). Drew Perry
pitched the fifth and sixth to close out the game. The win was the sixth straight for
the surging Roughs.

HADDONFIELD - The Roughriders closed out their season with a
2-0 win over visiting Bellmawr. With the victory, the Roughriders finish the season at 15-6-1,
good for third place in the overall standings. Their first round playoff opponent will be sixth
seeded Kepple's Carpet. The best-of-three series opens on Monday at Radnor Avenue.
