HADDON TWP - The game between the Roughriders and Hardenberg was postponed due to inclement weather. No makeup date has been determined.
Kepple's 9, Roughriders 7 June 28, 2005
CHERRY HILL - Jim Nastasi homered, tripled, and singled twice in a 9-7 loss to defending champion Kepple's on Tuesday night. The game started off well for the Roughs, who struck for three in the second. Nastasi tripled to right center, driving in Brett Young (1-3, 2 runs) for the first run. Ian Wallace (1-3, 2 RBI) followed with a double to score Nastasi and Rob Oryl's sacrifice fly made it 3-0. Nastasi homered to lead off the fourth to make 4-0, but things then began to unravel. The Roughs blew leads of 4-1 and 7-5 in losing their second straight. Nastasi finished 4-5 with two RBI and three runs scored.
Roughriders 12, Bellmawr 2 June 30, 2005
BELLMAWR - The Roughriders set their season high in hits with 13 en route to a 12-2 thumping of host Bellmawr. Mike Reagle went six innings, yielding four hits. He struck out eight and walked five. Run scoring singles by Jim Nastasi and Dave Vadurro gave the Roughs a 2-0 lead before BJ Amorelli's two-run double made it 4-0 in the third. The Roughs blew the game open in the sixth on Mike Carlino's bases loaded double, plating three runs. Nastasi, Vadurro, and Carlino all finished with three hits.
