Roughriders 8, Camden 0 July 7, 2005
CAMDEN - Rob Schork pitched five innings of shutout baseball, earning his team-leading third win, helping the Roughs defeat Camden 8-0. Schork allowed only three hits while striking out six batters to improve his record to 3-0. He has not allowed an earned run in his last 13 innings. The Roughs broke through first in the top of the second on an RBI groundout by Mark Kraus and a sacrifice fly by Rob Oryl to take a 2-0 lead. That score held until the fifth when Brett Young (2-4, 2 RBI) laced a one-out triple to right field, scoring Dan Severino and Ian Wallace who both walked. Run scoring doubles by Oryl and Jim Nastasi plus Dave Vadurro's RBI single capped off the six-run fifth. Vadurro finished with three hits and two runs scored.
