HADDONFIELD - The Roughriders were defeated by league leading Conlin Baseball, 4-1, on Monday night. Brian Spicer started and went 6.1 innings, giving up four earned runs on six hits. He walked two and struck out two. The Roughs tied the game 1-1 in the fifth on a sacrifice fly by Mike Cummings, which plated Mike Carlino (2-3, stolen base). But Conlin scored three in the seventh to get the win and sweep the season series from the Roughriders.

HADDON TWP - Phil Arena and Mark Kraus each delivered run-scoring singles in the final frame in a wild 10-7 win over host Pat's Steaks. Arena singled in Steve Wyland (2-2, 2 R, stolen base) to break a 6-6 tie in the top of the sixth. Kraus then delivered a two-out, two-run single to provide some much needed insurance. Rob Oryl had erased a 6-5 deficit in the fifth with a two-out triple which scored Kraus. Ryan McNamara went five innings yielding five hits, walking four and striking out three. He improved to 2-3 on the season. Mike Cummings pitched
the sixth for his second save of the season.

HADDONFIELD - Rob Oryl went 3-3 with two RBIs and a run scored, helping the Roughriders to a 6-3 win over Deptford. Oryl singled in Jeremy Clark in the first to tie the game 2-2, and then doubled in Mike Cummings (leadoff triple) to make the score 4-2 in the fifth. Starter Rob Schork (2-0) went five innings plus, striking out seven and allowing just two hits. Cummings pitched the final frame for his second consecutive save. Steve Wyland, Dave Vadurro, and Paddy McNamara all had RBIs in the game, as the Roughs improved to 11-6-2 on the season.
