BELLMAWR - Bellmawr pushed across an unearned run in the bottom of the seventh inning
to squeeze by the Roughriders by a score of 3-2 and take 1-0 lead in this Semi-Final playoff series. Mike Reagle started
for the Roughriders and had a strong showing, going the distance (6 IP, 9 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 3 K). Trailing 2-0 in the fifth,
Dan Diorio jump started the Roughs' offense with a one-out triple to right center. Rob Oryl's RBI fielder's choice scored
Diorio, and Adriano Petrutz's RBI groundout later in the inning tied the game 2-2. Game Two is scheduled for 7:30pm at
Bellmawr on Saturday night.

August 1, 2009 Game 2 - Semi-Finals
BELLMAWR - The Roughriders were eliminated from the 2009 playoffs in an 11-4 loss to
Bellmawr. With the win, Bellmawr sweeps the Semi-Final playoff series. Trailing 2-1 in the second, Dan Diorio launched a
solo homerun to right to tie the contest. It was Diorio's second homer of the playoffs. After a Chris Brooks' bunt single,
Adriano Petrutz doubled to right scoring Brooks, giving the Roughs their first lead of the night. Mike Carlino promptly
singled in Petrutz to make it 4-2. But the Roughs were unable to hold that lead, as Bellmawr scored two in the third and
four in the fourth on their way to a second consecutive trip to the TriCounty Finals.
Series Notes:
-Bellmawr eliminates the Roughriders from the playoffs
for a second straight year. Last year, it was in the Quarter Finals
-Bellmawr continues to be a perennial playoff foe. The teams have met nine times in the playoffs. The Roughs still
hold a 5-4 advantage
-The Roughriders last defeated Bellmawr in the 2002 playoffs, a sweep in the Quarter Finals
