HADDONFIELD - Brian Spicer threw a complete game, five-hitter and Chris Brooks delivered the big hit in a 3-1 win over Camden. The victory puts the Roughriders up 1-0 in the best-of-three series. Spicer struck out eight and walked none to earn the win. With the score 1-1 in the sixth, Mike Carlino reached on an error and stole second. With two outs, Brooks tripled to deep right for the game winner. Jeremy Clark
gave the Roughs a 1-0 lead with an RBI single in the third, scoring Phil Arena before Camden scored an unearned run in the fifth. Game Two is scheduled
for 6pm in Camden.

CAMDEN - Adriano Petrutz drove in five runs, including a fourth inning grand slam that broke the game open, in a 14-1
rout of Camden. With the win, the Roughs swept the best-of-three series. With two outs in the third, Rob Oryl's infield single brought Chris Brooks to the
plate, who hammered an inside the park homer to right for a 2-0 lead. After a walk to Jeremy Clark, Petrutz tripled to right to make it 3-0. A Mike Carlino
RBI single upped the lead to 4-0. In the fourth, Petrutz drove the first pitch he saw over the left field fence for a grand slam, giving the Roughs a 9-1 lead. Mike Cummings earned the win, throwing a complete game (6 IP, 5 H, 0 ER, 4 BB, 7 K). Dan Diorio finished off the scoring with his own grand
slam in the seventh. The Roughriders will visit top seed Bellmawr in the Semi-Finals beginning on Thursday night. Game time is 6:30pm.
Series Notes:
-The Roughriders are 2-0 in playoff series versus Camden. They last played in 2003. The Roughs swept that series as well
-The Roughriders have now advanced to the Semi-Final round in four of the last five years
-The two grand slams in one game by Petrutz and Diorio are a playoff first for the Roughriders
