D'Andrea 5, Roughriders 3 July 15, 2010 BELLMAWR - The Roughriders rallied late, but were still defeated by a score of 5-3 to D’Andrea. Trailing 1-0 in the fourth, Dan Dioro doubled and was brought home on a Matt Isard two-out single to tie the game. D’Andrea then scored two runs off starter Zach Schneider (5 IP, 5 H 3 ER, 2 BB, 4 K) in the fifth to take a 3-1 lead. D’Andrea added two additional runs in the sixth, which proved vital, as the Roughs scored two in the seventh on a two-run single from Phil Guinto. But the Roughs left the bases loaded to end the game, suffering their third straight loss. Deptford 9, Roughriders 6 July 16, 2010 HADDONFIELD - Deptford scored seven runs over the final two innings, including five in the seventh, to erase a 5-4 deficit and beat the Roughriders 9-6. The Roughs jumped out to a 4-0 lead thru three innings with a single tally in the first and three in the third. Phil Guinto’s triple was folllwed by a Eric Juliani double for a 1-0 after one inning. Dave Vadurro and Juliani hit RBI doubles in the third, and Steve Ferraro hit a sac fly for the 4-0 lead. But Deptford scored two in the fourth and two in the sixth to pull within 5-4. Five in the seventh by the visitors proved to be too much and sent the Roughs to their fourth straight defeat. Juliani went 3-4, with three doubles. Guinto went 2-2 with two walks and three runs scored.
