Game 1 - Semi-Finals
BELLMAWR - The Roughriders were defeated by Garton’s 4-0 in the opener of their Semi Final playoff series. The Roughs were held to just three singles on the evening. Garton’s scored a run in the first, two in the fifth, and one in the sixth en route to their shutout win. Ryan Easterday absorbed the loss, despite pitching well (6 IP, 7 H, 2 BB, 4 K). The Roughriders will try to tie the series when it resumes on Wednesday evening.

Game 2 - Semi-Finals
BELLMAWR - Nick Cavanaugh kept the Roughriders alive, evening their Semi Final playoff series at 1-1, in an 8-2 victory. Cavanaugh won for the second time this post season, going all seven innings (6 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 7 K). It was his fourth consecutive complete game in the playoffs dating back to last year, and third career playoff win. Up 1-0 in the fourth, the Roughs scored five times to build a 6-0 lead. Alex Reinicker’s RBI single and Adam Bartholomew’s bases loaded double which scored two highlighted the inning. The series winner will be determined tomorrow night in Bellmawr at 6:30pm.

Game 3 - Semi-Finals
BELLMAWR - Garton’s scored a single run in the sixth inning, breaking a 2-2, and defeated the Roughriders 3-2. With the win, Garton’s advances the TriCounty Finals versus Washington Twp. The Roughriders jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the first, when Dene Vespe singled and came home on Adam Bartholomew’s RBI triple. Garton’s scored single tallies in the second and third to gain a 2-1 advantage, but Andrew Juliani’s two out, RBI single scored Eric Juliani to tie the game 2-2 after four innings. Starter Dave Young deserved a better fate, hurling a complete game (7 IP, 8 H, 3 ER, 1 BB, 3 K). The Roughs finish the year with an overall record of 20-8-1, their first 20 win season since 2006.
Series Notes:

-This was the second playoff meeting between the two franchises. The Roughriders won a Quarter Final matchup back in 1994, sweeping the series 2-0.

-The teams split their two meetings during the regular season, each winning on the road.
