| CHERRY HILL - CHBR pushed across a run in the eighth inning with one out, sending the Roughs to their fifth straight defeat in a 3-2 extra innings loss on Monday night. Drew Dark went the distance (7.1 IP, 7 H, 3 ER, 4 BB, 2 K) to record his second complete game of the year. The visitors had jumped out to a 2-0 lead, which included an RBI single by Mike McLaughlin, but CHBR chipped away and tied the game after five complete. The Roughs let golden opportunities slip away in this one, leaving a runner at third with less than two outs in the seventh and then leaving the bases loaded with no outs in the eighth. Tyler Easterday went 4-4 with a run scored and stolen base. | |

| CLAYTON - The Roughriders won for the first time in nearly two and a half weeks, defeating host UTEK 5-0. Adam Bartholomew and Noah Clement both drove in runs on RBI groundouts to give the Roughs a 3-0 lead after two innings. That's all starter Jon Cole (2-1) would need, as the right hander struck out six and yielded just three hits over six innings of work. Mike Byrnes (2-4, 2 2B) drove in two runs in the seventh with a bases loaded double and Alex Reinicker, playing in his final game of the season before knee surgery, picked up the save in relief. | |

| HADDONFIELD - Excel One broke a 1-1 tie in the fourth inning by scoring six times, and went on to defeat the Roughriders by a score of 10-4. Charlie Clark's RBI single tied the game 1-1 in the second inning before Excel One batted around, plating six runs on six hits in the decisive fourth. Drew Dark went 2-3 with a triple and RBI, while Mike Byrnes continued his hot July by going 2-3 with a run scored. The win by Excel One earned them a split of the season series. | |
