| CHERRY HILL – Drew Dark won for the sixth time, scattered 10 hits in a complete game effort, to help the Roughriders take Game One of their Quarter Final playoff series by a score of 3-2. In a crisply played game by both sides, the Roughs broke a 2-2 tie in the fourth. Thomas Gosse’ doubled with two outs, and after a walk to Sean Burychka, Eric DiDomenico’s RBI single scored Gosse’ for a 3-2 lead. Dark made that lead stand up, including striking out the final two batters with runners at first and second to end the contest. Bauer Fichter went 2-3, including an RBI in the first, to support the offense. Game Two is slated for tomorrow at 6pm in Cherry Hill | |

| CHERRY HILL – Eric DiDomenico went 4-4, leading the Roughriders to a series clinching 14-0 victory over CHBR/Third Base. DiDomenico doubled in two runs in the first, launched a two-run homer in the second, and ripped a run scoring single in the fifth to account for five RBI. Sean Burychka went 2-4 with a double, walk, and two runs scored. Starter Drew Ryback allowed just one hit over a six inning stint to earn the win (1 BB, 8 K). The Roughriders will now face Cherry Hill, the five seed, in a best-of-three Semi Final series beginning on Monday. Game time is 7pm at Alcyon Park in Pitman. | |
