HADDON TWP - Brian Spicer won his fourth game of the season, versus no losses, in an 8-2 victory over Hardenberg.
Spicer went the distance, scattering seven hits while striking out six and walking three. The Roughriders worked some two-out magic in the third to take an early 1-0 lead. Chris Brooks singled with two outs and Jeremy Clark followed with a double to center to score Brooks. The Roughs widened the margin in
the fifth, thanks to Rob Oryl's two-out, two-run single with the bases loaded making it 5-0. Clark went 2-5 with two doubles and a run scored. Mike Carlino finished 2-3 with a walk and RBI.

BELLMAWR - The Roughriders were defeated by league leading Bellmawr, 7-6, on Thursday evening. The Roughs jumped to
1-0 lead in the second, when Chris Brooks doubled in Bill Kohut for a 1-0 lead. Mike Cummings sac fly in the third scored Mike Carlino (leadoff triple)
to make it 2-1. But Bellmawr scored five times in the third for a 6-2 advantage. A late seventh inning rally which included RBI's by Phil Arena,
Carlino, and Cummings closed the game to 7-6, but the Roughs would leave the tying run at third. Brooks went 3-3 with two walks and a run scored.

HADDONFIELD - The game between the Roughriders and Hardenberg was stopped due to lightening in the bottom of the
fourth inning with the Roughriders leading 3-0. By league rules, the game must be replayed from the beginning. With a fourth place finish, the
Roughriders will host Camden in a best-of-three Quarter Finals matchup beginning on Monday, July 27.
