HADDONFIELD - The game between the Roughriders and Whiskey Barrel was called due to lightning in the bottom of the second inning, with the Roughriders leading 3-2. By league rule, the game must be replayed from the start. The game has been rescheduled for Thursday, June 24 in Haddonfield.
Roughriders vs. Maple Shade, PPD July 16, 2014
HADDONFIELD - The game between the Roughriders and Maple Shade was postponed due to inclement weather. The game has been rescheduled for Wednesday, June 23 in Haddonfield.

VINELAND – Nick Cavanaugh pitched the Roughriders to a 3-1 victory over Vineland on Thursday night. The lefty, earning his fourth win of the season, held Vineland to just two hits, striking out four and walking three. He took a shutout into the seventh, when Vineland pushed across their only run. Sean Hunter’s two-run single with two outs in the fourth provided Cavanaugh with all the runs he would need. Hunter’s game-winner came after the Roughs loaded the bases with two outs on consecutive singles by Ryan Easterday, Mike Byrnes, and Eric Juliani. Phil Guinto hit his fifth home run of the season, a solo shot to dead center, to make it 3-1 in the fifth. The Roughs host Camden tomorrow night to finish off Week 7.

HADDONFIELD – The Roughriders and Camden played to a 2-2 tie after seven innings, in a game called due to darkness. It was the first tie of the year for the Roughs. Dave Young went 3-3 with a run scored and stolen base to pace the offense. Starter Mike Reagle went 5.2 innings in a no-decision, scattering seven hits and allowing two earned runs. He struck out four and walked none. Young singled in the second, doubled in the fourth and singled again in the sixth to cap off his perfect night. The tie puts the Roughriders in second place in the overall standings as the final week of the regular season commences next week.
