BELLMAWR - Tom Daly’s RBI single in the top of the eighth scored John Tedeschi with the go-ahead run in the Roughriders' 2-1 win
over Cherry Hill in their Semi Final playoff series opener. Carter Fichter earned the win, pitching all eight innings. He yielding just four hits and did not
give up an earned run (3 BB, 10 K). While Fichter was dealing, the Roughs jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in their first at-bat. Jack Parkinson walked to

August 1, 2017 Game 2 - Semi-Finals
PITMAN - Tyler Easterday’s game winning single in the bottom of the seventh inning scored Jack Parkinson with the only run of the
game in a 1-0 victory over Cherry Hill. With the win, the Roughs swept the best-of-three Semi Final series and advanced to the TriCounty Finals. A pitching duel
from the start, Zach Welsher earned the win by hurling seven innings (4 H, 3 BB, 12 K). It was the second consecutive shutout by the right-hander, who improved his
record to 2-0 in the postseason. The seventh started with a walk to Parkinson. Noah Clement reached safely on his sacrifice bunt, and Tom Daly walked to load the
bases. After a strikeout, Easterday lined a base hit off a drawn in infield to win the game and take the series. The Roughriders return to the Finals for the first
time since 2006, where they will face regular season champion Garton's. The series starts next Monday in Bellmawr at 7pm.
