WASHINGTON TWP - The Roughrider offense continued to roll, this time scoring 10 runs, and defeated the Senators 10-2 to take the
first game of their best-of-three Semi-Final playoff series. Tom Daly’s bases clearing double in the third inning proved to be the game breaker, as the Roughs erased
a 1-0 deficit by scoring six times. Ronny Silvestro, John Tedeschi, and Mike Byrnes also delivered RBI hits in the inning. Zach Welsher took things over from there,
hurling a complete game, five-hitter. He struck out nine and walked three to earn his fourth win in 2018. Daly finished the game with three hits and four RBI.
Game Two is scheduled for tomorrow night at Alcyon Park beginning at 7pm.

fifth complete game of the season. Ronny Silvestro went 4-4 (HR, 3 RBI, 3 RS) and Mike Byrnes 3-5 (2B, HR, 3 RBI, 2 RS) to lead an offense which has scored double
digit runs in four straight playoff games. The win advances the Roughs into the Finals for a second consecutive year.
