HADDONFIELD - In a back-and-forth game, Garton’s pushed across an unearned run in the fourth inning that proved the
difference in a 6-5 win over the Roughriders. Garton’s scored three times in the top of the first, but the Roughs would battle back over the next two innings.
Tom Daly ripped an RBI triple, scoring Ronny Silvestro (1-2, BB, 2 RS), and John Tedeschi followed with an RBI single scoring Daly to close the gap to 3-2 after
one inning. The home team tacked on two more runs in the second to gain a 4-3 lead but Garton’s responded with two of their own in the third to retake the lead at
5-4. Daly’s second hit of the evening, an RBI double again scoring Silvestro, tied the contest at 5-5 after just three innings. Nick DeRitis pitched
five solid innings in relief but Garton's scored three unearned runs, including the game winner in the fourth, to edge the Roughs. The game was shortened to six innings
due to darkness.

CAMDEN - Zach Welsher hurled six innings of shutout baseball in the Roughriders’ 6-0 whitewash of Camden. Welsher was
efficient in earning his first win of the season, striking out five and yielding five hits. He walked just one. Tom Daly’s sac fly in the first put
the Roughs up 1-0, and his RBI single scored Ronny Silvestro (leadoff triple) to make it 2-0 in the fourth. Silvestro’s own sac fly in the fifth
extended the lead to 4-0. Silvestro finished 2-3, including the fourth inning triple, with a run scored and RBI on the evening.
HADDONFIELD - The Roughriders’ first inning woes continued, this time suffering through a five-run first inning at the
hands of Seabrook in an 11-4 loss. Dan Brown’s 3-3 evening and John Tedeschi’s 2-4 (2B, RBI, RS) accounted for five of the team’s seven total hits.

HADDONFIELD- Mike Byrnes drove in four runs and Drew Dark scattered 13 hits in a complete game effort, as the
Roughriders defeated Camden for the second time in three days. Byrnes doubled in two runs in the first inning, helping the Roughs gain an early 4-0 lead.
Byrnes’ RBI single in the second extended the lead to 5-0. Thomas Gosse’ contributed three hits as well, including a double and RBI. Dark secured his second
win of the season by getting the final out via strikeout with the bases loaded.
