HADDONFIELD - Alex Pierznik's pinch-hit, two-run single in the fourth inning ignited a five-run rally in the Roughriders' 5-3
win over the visiting Washington Township Senators. Pierznik's hit came with two outs and scored both Thomas Gosse' and Danny Vazquez to erase a 1-0 deficit.
After Eric Sabato walked and Jim Bruno was HBP, Llyod McLaughlin ripped his own two-run single to make it 4-1. Shane Daly capped the inning with an RBI single for
the fifth run. Starter Drew Dark took over from there, going six innings and allowing zero earned runs (7 H, 1 BB, 4 K). Drew Guldin pitched the seventh to pick up his
first save of the season.

Roughriders 7, Camden 6
July 22, 2021
HADDONFIELD - The Roughriders scored seven runs in the third inning to build a 7-1 lead, then held on to win 7-6 and officially
clinch the second seed for the upcoming TriCounty playoffs. With Camden leading 1-0, Zach Ringenwald started the big inning with a walk and stolen base. Eric Sabato's single
put runners at first and third for Jim Bruno, who ripped a double to score Ringenwald and send Sabato to third. When Shane Daly's fly ball to right was misplayed, both
Sabato and Bruno scored for 3-1 lead. Thomas Gosse' then brought Daly home with the fourth run with a sacrifice fly. Isaiah Ishmail started things up again
when he roped a double to left and scored on an RBI single by Drew Dark for the fifth run. After a walk to Nate Johnson, Ringenwald would bat for the second time
in the inning and single to right to score two more runs for a commanding 7-1 lead. But Camden squeezed out four runs in the fourth to close the game to 7-5. Gosse',
making his second relief stint of the season, picked up the save by pitching two innings (2 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 2 K) and getting the final out via fly ball with the
bases loaded. Mike Shannon earned his fourth win the season by going the first three innings (1 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 K).
